This Privacy Policy describes how Winsoft ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Dairy Admin mobile application (also referred to as Dairy Summary, package name: com.winsoft.dairysummary.dairy_summary) (the "App"). The App is designed for authorized dairy society administrators and members to view milk collection, billing, ledger, and related society records.
By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who this App is for
The App is intended for users who are authorized by a dairy society/co-operative registered with our platform. Access requires a valid mobile number and dairy society code issued or recognized by the society's administrator or service provider.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide at login
- Mobile phone number
- Dairy society code
Society and member information retrieved from the server
- Society name, society code, language preference, and account settings
- Member names, member codes, branch/zone codes, and masked mobile numbers
- Milk collection records (date, liters, fat, SNF, rate, amount, cow/buffalo type, session, branch)
- Billing and payment summary data
- Deduction entries
- Ledger/account transaction data
- Branch/device and zone master information
- Society announcements
- Authentication token and session expiry details
Information stored locally on your device
- Cached copies of data in local database for offline access
- Selected branch preference and in-app settings
- Login session details until logout or expiry
Information we do not collect through the App
- No third-party advertising SDKs
- No Firebase Analytics or Google Analytics
- No access to contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, or GPS location
- No personal data from children under 13
3. How we use information
We use the collected information solely for legitimate operational purposes:
- To authenticate your identity and grant access to your society's data.
- To fetch and display milk collection summaries, member lists, ledgers, and billing details.
- To support multi-language options and customized UI settings.
- To allow offline viewing of previously fetched records.
- To respond to support inquiries and troubleshoot application errors.
4. Where data is processed and stored
Your data is transmitted securely via HTTPS encrypted connections to secure servers managed by Winsoft or authorized society infrastructure in India. Information cached locally on your device is stored using standard local storage APIs and SQLite database encryption where applicable.
5. Data sharing and disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade any user or society data. Data is shared only under the following conditions:
- Authorized Society Personnel: Society administrators and authorized officials can view records relevant to their administrative role within the society.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental regulation.
- Service Providers: Secure hosting and API infrastructure providers working under strict confidentiality agreements.
6. Permissions used by the App
The App requests standard Android device permissions essential for network operation:
- Internet Access (
android.permission.INTERNET): Required to fetch society data and update records. - Network State (
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Required to check offline/online status.
The App does not request sensitive permissions such as location, camera, contacts, or microphone.
7. Data retention
Local session data remains on your device until you log out or clear app cache/data. Server-side records are retained in accordance with agreement terms with your dairy society and applicable legal accounting standards.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/SSL) for all API communications. Access token authentication ensures that only valid logged-in accounts can query society data.
9. Your choices and rights
You can clear locally stored data anytime by logging out or via your Android app settings. To update or correct society records (e.g. member details, milk collection entries), please contact your local dairy society administrator.
10. Third-party services
The App operates independently without integrated third-party ad networks or analytics services. Links to external sites, if any, are governed by their respective privacy policies.
11. International users
The App is primarily designed for and operated within India. By using the App, you consent to the storage and processing of your information in India.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
